NEIMUN Annual Conference

What is NEIMUN?

NEIMUN (North East India International Model United Nations) is a youth-led leadership platform and the annual flagship conference organised by NEIMUN Foundation since 2013 in North East.  It is one of the premier MUNs in South Asia to follow the UN4MUN Rules of Procedure, developed by the UN Department of Global Communications (since 2009). During the NEIMUN Annual Conference, delegates simulate committees of the UN and other international organisations.

The three-day conference held every year brings together young minds from across North East and beyond, offering students an authentic United Nations experience. Participants step into the shoes of diplomats, ambassadors, and world leaders to debate pressing global issues and craft meaningful solutions.

As the oldest MUN conference in the region, with over 13 years of experience, NEIMUN combines rigorous committee and training sessions with cultural events and inspiring guest speakers, creating an enriching experience for both first-time and seasoned MUNers.
